Pastillas StewMac Parsons Street tipo Soapbar P-90
We went deep and recreated the most accurate versions we could of this timeless pickup design. From the coil wire to the material of the magnet and bobbin, these are a tone time machine!
Developed by tone experts
Our own Erick Coleman tracked down priceless original P-90s sets and meticulously studied the materials and construction that gives these pickups their truly timeless tone. It may be a simple design, but unlocking those secrets gave us some of the best sounding P-90s on the market.
Powering early Gibson® Les Paul® Goldtops, SGs®, and countless other guitars, P-90s have a tone that can carry a jazz band or cut through a stack of Marshalls. The Alnico 5 magnets have a tone that's bright and glassy, with great mid-range punch, and clear, smooth bass.
We build them like they used to!
Named for the famous Kalamazoo street where the original P-90 was born, we preserve that lineage in every pickup. The bobbin is vintage-style black plastic with original-style enameled coil wire and unpotted for an authentic, slightly grittier sound.
By player request—all the tone and no hum!
The neck position is reverse wound/reverse polarity (RWRP) for hum cancellation in the middle position. For vintage non-hum-canceling wiring, use two "original" bridge pickups.
Direct replacement design
StewMac Parsons Street P-90s are direct replacements in Gibson® Les Paul® Juniors, SG® Juniors, and SG® Specials, plus archtop and semi-hollowbody Gibsons® made for P-90s. And they're great choices for giving your next custom guitar that raw vintage tone.
