Bigsby® Vibrato Tailpieces
Original equipment on famous guitars for half a century. The legendary hand-assembled Bigsby vibrato features a string mounting bar floating on low-friction needle bearings, for accurate return to pitch. Each model has a sand-cast aluminum frame and stainless steel arm.
Bigsby B5 Vibrato: For flat-face solidbody guitars. Attaches to the top of the guitar with four supplied screws. The base of the vibrato is 4-1/4" long x 3-5/8" wide. 2-1/16" rear mounting screw spread; 2-3/4" front mounting screw spread.
Though a Bigsby B5 vibrato can be installed on a carved-top Les Paul or thin-archtop ES-335 style guitar, the back of the unit may appear slightly raised. For a Les Paul, see the Bigsby B7 with Vibramate V7-LP Adapter instead.
Vibramate® Adapter Kits for Bigsby Vibratos
The Vibramate V5 Adapter uses your guitar's stop tailpiece bushings for easy, secure Bigsby installation with just a screwdriver. No drilling! For B5 Bigsbys only.
- For guitars with U.S. or metric stop tailpiece mounting bushings that have standard 3-1/4" (82,55 mm) non-staggered spacing.
- Fits most solidbody and thin archtop guitars with a Tune-o-matic style bridge.
- Felt pads protect the guitar's finish.

Bigsby B5 with Vibramate V5 fits flat-face solidbodies. This B5/V5 combination won't fit a classic large-pickguard SG, or a Flying V (order the Short Tail kit).
Bigsby B5 with Vibramate V5-ST Short Tail has clearance for large pickguards on classic SG® solidbodies.
